Play after play after play, Colt leads Texas down the field and continues to show why they are the number 1 team in the nation. Add to the offense a defense that has yet to give Missouri a single score and you've got a statement. Heading into the half Texas takes a 35-3 and if I know Mack Brown they'll continue to put the hammer down in the second half.

The numbers comparison is just stupid in time of possession and first downs, but unbelievably both Chase Daniel and Colt McCoy have some pretty equal numbers outside of the fact that Texas has 5 TD's.

Let's look at this logically the second half is really more about clock management and just keeping the ball out of Chase Daniel's hands. Texas didn't continue to put the hurt on, but a defensive interception and Colts departure with about 8 minutes left in the game shows they now how to win.
