Texas has a chance to get back on track and earn back some of the respect that slipped away during the Ohio State game last week. The key this week will be for the defense to step up and not make many of the mistakes that they made last week. Rest assured that Gene Chizik has put the Longhorns through a rigorous workout this week and they will be ready. On the offensive side of the ball Colt will have to be ready for the heavy blitzing that Rice does. While Ohio State and North Texas both used a number of blitzes in their attacks, Rice will have many more defensive looks and try their best to confuse the young quarterback. If Texas limits their mistakes on both the sides of the ball the victory is a guarantee; covering the 34 point spread may be another story.
