After a stellar performance this past Saturday leading Texas to a 10 point victory over public enemy #1 The Oklahoma Sooners, Colt has established himself as a true Hesiman Contender.
The Sooners came into the game with one of the most prolific offenses in the nation, but the Texas defense was smothering and their offense did exactly what they had to do to win which was play perfect. Texas took advantage of every opportunity that the OU gave and in the end came away with a 45-35 victory.
McCoy showed in that game that he can lead this team with both his physical and mental toughness; exactly what you need from your quarterback if you want to be in the National Championship game come January.
Now on to Missouri, and as long as the Longhorns show the poise and courage that they did against Oklahoma then both their offense and defense should out match Mizzou; let's just not look to far ahead make sure that we take care of business.
